These ornaments are made from a clear regular size Christmas ball. The beads on this ornament are not transparent. They are solid white, so they don't sparkle. However they still would be a beautiful addition to your tree. I have similar ones on my tree every year. I do carry different colors and some extra large ones also. These are glass ornaments so handle with care..
